DIY Wreath Wall Decor

Here's a preview of my room...the rest of it is still a work in progress so when I'm done I'll be sure to put pictures up.

Here's what you're going to need:
-A few wreaths of different sizes
-White spray paint (I like using Krylon)
-A few different kinds of fake flowers
-Hot glue

Start off by spray painting the wreaths.  I did 3 layers on each side to completely cover the dark brown color.

When the paint is dry, cut the individual flowers off of their stems and arrange them however you would like them to be placed on the wreath.

Use a hot glue gun to attach the flowers to the wreaths

Done!

Helloberry Inspired Bracelet DIY

So you may or may not be familiar with Helloberry bracelets.  If you're not, here is the link to their collection.  I think they're super cute, especially for stacking (which I have really been into lately).  I would love to own one of these bracelets, but honestly it is kind of pricey for what it actually is and how easy it is to make...so I decided to make my own.
I think they turned out great and they were really inexpensive to make.  I got craft lace at Walmart for about 80 cents and the chain was from Michaels which ended up being about 3 dollars with a student discount.  I have tons of leftover materials so I'll probably end up making more.  The only downside to making my own is that craft lace colors are very limited and not quite as cute as some of the colors from the actual Helloberry collection.
So here's what I made:

If you would like to make your own, here is the tutorial that I found and used to make mine:

Dip-Dyed Ombre Scarf

When I was at home, my sister and I decided we wanted to make cute summery scarves.  We both love crafting and so we figured it would be a fun and easy DIY project that we could do together.  The scarves actually turned out really well!  I was surprised at how cute these scarves ended up.

We bought two yards of a really inexpensive chiffon fabric while we were in the city and it was enough fabric for each of us to make a scarf.  The dye we used was the brand Rit from Michael's and I was pleased with the color payoff of the dye.

We prepared the dye according to the directions on the package; we created an ombre effect by keeping the fabric in the dye mixture for a longer amount of time to create a darker color.

My sisters scarf is the one in the foreground and mine is the one that is farther away

DIY Wire Rings

The other day I was browsing Pintrest and I came across a pin for a DIY heart ring.  It was seriously so cute and I just had to make it.  I will link the blog post right here.  I made the heart ring and it turned out really well! I was actually really surprised at how easy it was to make and how much I liked it.

So I was thinking...why stop at just hearts?!  I decided to get creative and come up with other ideas for rings.  Here's what I came up with:
Pinky: music notes
Ring finger: cursive "Love"
Middle: infinity
Pointer: heart
Here they are off of my fingers
This is probably my favorite one!
